i met the love of my life tonight. his name is braden asa. he is seventeen days old. and he is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen.

holding my new nephew was exciting. he held my finger and stared at me with his little blue eyes. it actually made me reconsider the whole having children thing. maybe it's something i'll do one day. if my children are anything like braden, then i'll be in love for life.

i'm heading back to west virginia in the morning. i dred the four hour drive, but i'm looking forward to being back at school.
